All about TV

In Finland, you can get YLE, the state owned broadcast, of all over the territory. YLE offers high quality TV programs and news. The programs are mostly in Finnish, eventually in Swedish but all the movies or imported programs are in original version with subtitle, so watching TV is nice and useful (since you can grab some Finnish too). The private channel MTV3 offers mostly entertainment. Among other things, you can follow the probably most popular Finnish “soap” on MTV3; it’s called “Salatut elämät” (Secret lives). Nelonen is another private channel. For Swedish speaking people, it’s possible to get SVT, the Swedish TV.
